Public education is for everyone. The fact is that parents enjoy lots of options and choices across the 30+ schools in GUSD.

Unfortunately, outsiders with no children in public schools have been infiltrating GUSD in recent years, attempting to provoke fear, restrict our kids’ freedom to learn, and undermine public education.

GUSD Parents for Public Schools provides fellow families with resources that empower parents and guardians to advocate and support public education. We remind everyone that in California, students have the freedom and the right to learn in a supportive environment.

GUSD remains a destination district for families all over Northeast Los Angeles. With award-winning programs and teachers, our public schools are preparing engaged, thoughtful students for their future.
